About Dr. Raghubar Prasad Singh
Dr. Raghubar Prasad Singh was born to Smt. Raso Devi and Shri Raj Kumar Singh, a middle class family on 25th January 1996 in Madhubani District (Bihar). He lived and studied in his paternal village Yogia, Bihar until the age of 16, when upon completion of his school education, he shifted to Darbhanga. As a young boy he was always inspired by the stories of the great patriots of the nation and dreamt of working for the progress of the motherland. He was especially inspired and influenced by the nationalist spirit and vision of Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh (RSS) and became its active member in Darbhanga. This was one act that was to change his life forever and set him on a momentous journey towards the leadership. After joining the RSS, Raghubar jee worked for the student’s wing of the RSS – the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) for over Seven years.
Dr. Singh is a dedicated Assistant Professor of Economics at Mahatma Gandhi College, Darbhanga. With a strong background in research and teaching, he has published numerous papers in reputed journals and has a passion for guiding students in their academic pursuits. His areas of interest include development economics, international trade, and public policy. Dr. Singh has published more than 30 Research Papers/Journal/Articles/Chapter in various books/national/international journals/seminars/Conference. Day by day, research papers/articles are being published by him on social issues. He has always chosen the subject of his research to be socially useful, so that everyone gets its wide benefit. He has attended more than 550 seminars/conferences/FDPs and has reviewed over 22 research papers for various journals, including those indexed in the Web of Science group. A Single Student of L. N. Mithila University Darbhanga of Session 2017-19 (Economics), Who Qualified LNMU PAT-2019 in first Attempt, Former Master of Arts (Economics), University Department of Economics, Lalit Narayan Mithila University Darbhanga. A Volunteer & Team Leader of National Service Scheme (NSS), PG unit, LNMU darbhanga. Under his leadership, the team became the first Award winner at the university level of Swachh Bharat Summer Internship-2018.
In 2020, He Became Founder of Make My Muhurt, This event planner company has gained fame in organizing online seminar/Webinar/Conferences not only in Darbhanga but also in nearby districts in a very short time. It is the effect of his leadership that this company is planning events by going to different districts.
On 01th August 2021, Raghubar Ji Was Selected as The President of Research Scholar Association, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga. For the past many years, he has been fighting for the rights of students and Research Scholars. As a result of which, many changes are also being seen in Mithila University Darbhanga. Identity card of research scholars will be made on their demand continuously from January 2020.

As its esteemed Founder, he is resolutely committed to cultivating a vibrant ecosystem of intellectual curiosity, fostering meaningful collaborations, and disseminating cutting-edge research to a global audience, thereby redefining the contours of knowledge and understanding.
Embarking on a remarkable academic odyssey, he commenced his research journey in January 2020, delving into the intricacies of Crop Insurance in India, a topic of immense relevance and significance. Over the course of three years, he tirelessly pursued his passion, culminating in the award of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics from Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga in November 2023, a testament to his unwavering dedication and scholarly prowess. This milestone marks a significant chapter in his illustrious career, underscoring his expertise in shaping policies and frameworks that impact the nation's agricultural landscape. His groundbreaking research has not gone unnoticed, as he was recently conferred with an International Research Award in October 2024, a prestigious recognition of his contributions to the field.
He has gained so much fame at such a young age, but his lifestyle is quite simple. While talking to him, it is not even felt that there can be a person of this position. It has become their routine to meet every person normally, listen to the problem and get it resolved. Even in the present times, he is always ready to play the role of a social worker. He is also working as a RTI Activist since the year 2014.
